تدريب على الترجمة:
سوف نعرض بعض التدريبات عن الترجمة في بعض المجالات و ذلك للتدرّب على الترجمة بشكل صحيح و متقن حتى تزيد من خبرتك و تطورك بهذا المجال
نبدأ بالقسم القانوني ( الترجمة القانونية ) :
لدينا مثلا كلمة :
إفادة خطيّة / شهادة تحت القسم = Affidavit ,
- نصيحة : لا تترجمها " تصريح " وذلك لانها في هذا القسم تعتبر وثائق رسمية .
إخلال بالعقد = The breach of Contract
- تستخدم في القضايا التجارية ، و المحاكم العمّاليّة ولا تترجم حرفيا إلى " كسر العقد " .
كاتب عدل = Notary Public
- وظيفة قانونية للتوثيق وليست " محامي عام " .
إتِفاق أو تسوية = Settlement agreement.
- يُستخدم لحل النزاعات دون اللجوء إلى المحكمة .
الشروط و الأحكام = Terms and Conditions
- ترجمة عامة في العقود و المواقع الإلكترونية
المسؤولية القانونية = Liability
- لا تُترجم " ذنب " لأنها لا تعني الإدانة .
بند السرية = Confidentiality Clause
- يُلزم الأطراف بعد كشف المعلومات السرية .
الإختصاص القضائي = Jurisdiction
- تعني السُلطة القانونية و ليست " منطقة الحكم "
و الان نستطيع قول أن الترجمة القانونية تُعد الدقة و المصطلحات عناصر أساسية، فخطأ واحد في ترجمة عقد يغيّر معناه بالكامل و يؤدي إلى نزاع .
لذلك يجب على المترجم فهم النظامين القانونيين في كلا البلدين او في المحكمة .

القسم الطبي ( الترجمة الطبية ) :
تعتمد على توافق اللغة الانجليزية و اللاتينية خصوصا في التعبير عن المصطلحات الطبية ..
تشخيص = Diagnosis
- لا تُترجم " تحليل " فهي أوسع و تشمل تحديد نوع المرض .
الجرعة الدوائية = Dosage
- الترجمة الدقيقة مهمة جداً ، ولا تُستبدل بكلمة " كمية الدواء " .
الآثار الجانبية = Side Effects
- استخدم الجمع لأنها عادة متعددة.
ضغط الدم = Blood pressure
- لا تترجم " قوة الدم " .
مرض مزمن = Chronic Disease
- يعني طويل الأمد و ليس " حاد " .
تفاعل تحسّسي = Allergic reaction
- استخدمها بدل " حساسية " في التقارير الطبية .
نتائج المختبر = Laboratory Results
- أدق من " تحليل "
خطة العلاج = Treatment Plan
- تُستخدم في التقارير الطبية و الخطط العلاجية طويلة الأمد.
الترجمة الطبية فتركّز على سلامة المريض، إذ يجب أن يكون المترجم دقيقًا عند ترجمة الوصفات أو التشخيصات أو نتائج التجارب السريرية، لأن أي خطأ بسيط في الجرعة أو المصطلح قد يعرض حياة المريض للخطر .

القسم التقني ( الترجمة التقنية ) :
التي تعتمد على التكنولوجيا الحديثة أو الرقمية .
دليل المستخدم = User Manual
- ليس " كتاب المستخدم " بل يُقصد به الكتيب الإرشادي .
تحديث برمجي = Software update
- أدق من " تحديث البرنامج " ، لأن المقصود تحسين النظام البرمجي.
تشفير البيانات = Data Encryption
- لا تُترجم " ترميز البيانات " لأن التشفير يخص بالحماية الأمنية .
الذكاء الاصطناعي = Artificial intelligence
- مصطلح تقني شائع يُترجم كما هو دون أي إختصار.
وفي الترجمة التقنية، يجب تحقيق توازن بين الوضوح والدقة. فَترجمة كتيبات الاستخدام أو التعليمات البرمجية أو التقارير الهندسية تتطلب فهمًا لغويًا وتقنيًا عميقًا، مع الحفاظ على اتساق المصطلحات لضمان الاستخدام الآمن والصحيح للأجهزة.

نصيحة للمترجم المحترف :
قبل ترجمة أي مصطلح، افهم المجال والسياق القانوني أو الطبي أو التقني، ثم اختر الترجمة المتخصصة المعتمدة في المراجع المهنية أو المواقع الرسمية.

الترجمة المتخصصة تتطلب فهمًا عميقًا
للمجال وليس اللغة فقط، ومع الممارسة المستمرة يمكن للمترجم الوصول إلى مستوى احترافي يضمن دقة المصطلح و جودة المعنى .

We begin with the legal section (legal translation):
For example, we have the word:
Affidavit (written statement/certificate under oath)
Tip: Do not translate it as "permit" because in this section it is considered an official document.
Breach of Contract
It is used in commercial cases and labor courts and does not translate literally as "breach of contract".
Notary Public
It is a legal job for documentation, not a "public prosecutor".
Agreement or settlement = Settlement agreement.
It is used to resolve disputes without resorting to the courts.
Terms and Conditions
General translation in contracts and websites
Legal liability = Liability
Do not translate "guilty" because it does not mean condemnation.
Confidentiality Clause
The parties are obligated to refrain from disclosing confidential information.
Jurisdiction
It means legal authority, not "territorial area".
Now we can say that in legal translation, accuracy and terminology are essential elements, as one mistake in translating a contract completely changes its meaning and leads to a dispute.
Therefore, the translator must understand the legal systems in both countries or in the court.

It relies on the compatibility of English and Latin, especially in expressing medical terminology.
Diagnosis
Do not translate "analysis" as it is broader and includes identifying the type of disease.
Drug dosage = Dosage
Accurate translation is very important, and it should not be replaced by the phrase "amount of medicine".
Side Effects
Use the plural because it is usually multiple.
Blood pressure
Do not translate "Blood Power".
Chronic disease = Chronic disease
It means long-term, not "acute".
Allergic reaction
Use it instead of "allergy" in medical reports.
Laboratory Results
More accurate than "analysis"
Treatment Plan
It is used in medical reports and long-term treatment plans.
Medical translation focuses on patient safety, as the translator must be accurate when translating prescriptions, diagnoses, or clinical trial results, because any small error in dosage or terminology could endanger the patient's life.

It is not a "user book" but rather a manual.

More accurate than "program update", because it refers to improving the software system.

A common technical term that is translated as is, without any abbreviation.
In technical translation, a balance must be struck between clarity and accuracy. Translating user manuals, code, or engineering reports requires a deep linguistic and technical understanding, while maintaining terminological consistency to ensure the safe and correct use of equipment.
